Account & Data Deletion
You can email us to delete your Log My Lifts account and its associated cloud data. You do not need to install or download the app again.
If you still have the app, you can also open Settings → Account → Delete account.
Request deletion by email
- Send an email to support@nexnovatech.com.
- Use the suggested subject “Log My Lifts account deletion”.
- Say whether you sign in with Google or Apple, include the email associated with that sign-in, and clearly ask us to delete your Log My Lifts account and the cloud data linked to it.
- Do not send your password, a sign-in verification code, or complete health records.
We will check that the request matches the account and email you provide. We will process it within 7 business days and email you when it is done.
What deletion covers
Deletion covers your Log My Lifts app account, the associated cloud profile, and training data stored in cloud backups linked to that account.
It does not delete your Google or Apple account. Copies stored only on a device, system health records such as Apple Health, and copies you have already shared must be managed by you separately. Deleting the Log My Lifts account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
Where needed for security, fraud prevention, transactions, or legal obligations, we may keep the corresponding records, including deletion-request and status records, security and abuse-prevention logs, and store transaction records held by Apple or Google. No fixed retention period is published for these residual records. Deletion does not mean every copy disappears immediately from every system or provider backup.
Part A
Terms of Use
1. The service
Log My Lifts helps you build and schedule strength training plans, log sets and timed activity, review workout summaries, and follow your training history. You can use the core workout flow without an account or an internet connection. Optional features — including Apple or Google sign-in, cloud mood profile, cloud backup and restore, remote configuration, and paid entitlements — depend on your device, operating system, network, permissions, and store purchase status.
By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app. The terms of the store from which you download the app also apply.
2. Eligibility and training safety
The app is designed for adults who understand basic exercise concepts. If a minor is permitted to use it under local law, a parent or guardian should supervise that use. Choose exercises and loads appropriate to your abilities, follow equipment instructions, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms.
Exercise descriptions, estimated values, heart-rate displays, and statistics are for personal tracking and general information. They are not a medical device, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation program, or individualized coaching service. Contact a qualified professional about injuries or health concerns and local emergency services in an emergency.
3. Your records, accounts, and optional services
Plans, drafts, workout history, and settings are primarily stored on your device for local use. You are responsible for device security and any device backups you choose to maintain. Clearing app data, uninstalling the app, losing a device, or device failure may remove local records.
Optional Apple or Google sign-in enables account features such as cloud mood profile content and, if you separately authorize it, cloud backup and restore. Cloud backup is off by default. Upload — whether manual or automatic — requires your explicit authorization for the current account on that device. You can turn off future uploads at any time; turning them off does not delete backups that already exist. Existing backups remain available to restore or delete through the controls offered in the app until you remove them or close the account. Cloud backup is not continuous live multi-device editing and does not guarantee that every local change has reached the server.
Signing out, clearing local data, or uninstalling the app does not close your cloud account or delete cloud profile or backup data. Use the in-app cloud-backup deletion controls or the account-deletion action for those steps. After an account-deletion request is accepted, cleanup of account profile content and cloud backups runs asynchronously and may take time; necessary security, operation, and deletion-status records may remain. Local training copies on the device, copies you have already shared, and Apple Health entries are managed separately. Account deletion does not cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions or other store purchases; manage those through the relevant store.
Apple Watch, Apple Health, notifications, Photos, and system sharing are optional. System permission controls each relevant feature. Cloud backup authorization is independent of Apple Health permission and of the optional diagnostics choice. If you record the same workout with Apple Watch and also write a summary from the app to Apple Health, two entries may appear in Health. Apple Watch syncing can be delayed by pairing, connectivity, storage, or operating-system conditions. Heart-rate readings and workout timing can be incomplete or inaccurate.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Paid features and subscriptions, where offered, are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing, billing, renewals, free trials, and refunds follow that store’s rules unless we say otherwise in the app. Restoring purchases uses the store account on your device. Deleting your Log My Lifts account does not cancel an active store subscription.
5. Acceptable use and intellectual property
You may use the app for your personal, noncommercial training records. Do not interfere with the app, circumvent access controls, or copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit its branding, code, exercise content, or media without the relevant rights holder’s permission. Third-party exercise content may have separate attribution and licence terms shown in the app. You retain the rights you have in workout information you enter; the app processes it locally and, when you use account or backup features, through the corresponding cloud services to provide those functions.
6. Changes and availability
We may update the app to fix defects, improve security, or change features. We will give appropriate notice of material changes to these Terms or data practices and obtain a new choice where law requires it. We aim to keep the app available, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation on every device or operating-system version. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
7. Liability and governing law
Responsibility for injury, data loss, or service interruption depends on the circumstances and applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, NexNova Tech Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
Part B
Privacy Notice
1. Who handles data
NexNova Tech Limited is responsible for product-related personal information described in this notice. Core local workout tracking does not require sign-in. Optional account, cloud mood profile, backup and restore, remote configuration, and related service operations use cloud authentication, database, storage, and backend services. Optional analytics and crash diagnostics are a separate choice. Calling diagnostic events “anonymous” does not mean the SDK collects no identifiers or technical data.
2. What data is used
| Category | Purpose and destination |
|---|---|
| Plans and workout records | Exercises, targets, sets, weights, reps, durations, rest, effort, history, and settings run the app and are stored in its local database. If you authorize cloud backup for the current account on that device, selected account-linked training data may also be uploaded for backup and restore. |
| Account identity and authentication | Optional Apple or Google sign-in supports account features, session recovery, and account security. Cloud authentication services and the chosen sign-in provider process account identifiers, credentials, and any authorized name or email. Identity information may also be cached locally for display. |
| Cloud mood profile | When enabled with an account, mood text and related profile linkage, revision, and update times are processed through cloud account services and database storage, including anonymous cloud identity where the product enables it. |
| Cloud backup and restore | After your explicit authorization, manual or automatic backups may include plans, long-term planning state, workout history, weights, reps, notes, recorded heart rate, preferences and favorites, plus backup timestamps, app or schema versions, checksums, and sizes. Cloud database, object storage, and backend services process these backups; restored copies are written locally. Backups can include health-related information. |
| Purchases and entitlements | Store purchase and subscription status are processed by Apple or Google to unlock paid features. We may receive entitlement or restore results needed to deliver those features. Billing details stay with the store. |
| Remote configuration | Home-screen text and version-based access settings. App version, selected interface language, and technical signals such as installation identifiers help select and deliver configuration. Separate from optional diagnostics. |
| Service and security records | Authentication, account operations, backup requests, abuse prevention, and deletion processing may create necessary request identifiers, status or error information, timestamps, and technical connection information with the account and backup service providers. |
| Apple Watch and heart rate | When you use a compatible Watch and grant permission, data is processed on the Watch and paired phone. Heart rate present in app workout records may also be included in authorized cloud backups. The operating system may store sensor samples according to Health settings. |
| Apple Health summary | With system write permission, a minimal workout summary can be written to Health. This feature does not write weights, reps, or notes. |
| Notifications, Photos, and sharing | Used only when you enable reminders, save a summary image, or choose a sharing destination. |
| Optional diagnostics | Only after you explicitly accept sharing. If enabled, Firebase may receive launch and session activity, allowed product events, crash and performance details, device and OS information, and SDK technical identifiers. You can refuse or later turn this off in Settings. |
| Support and website data | Email content is used to answer your request. Website hosts may process standard security logs such as IP address, browser, and request time. |
Our custom diagnostic events use feature categories, booleans, and bucketed counts or durations. Crash context may include the current screen and whether a workout is active. We do not intentionally include workout weights, reps, notes, health content, names, or email addresses in those custom events. That restriction describes optional telemetry only; it does not limit the separate account, profile, or backup processing above. Firebase and related SDKs may independently process installation identifiers and other technical data under their own documentation.
3. Why we process information
Local records are processed to provide the workout functions you ask for. Account authentication, cloud mood profile, authorized backup and restore, purchase entitlements, remote configuration, and necessary service security records support those optional features and the integrity of the service. Optional diagnostics help us understand app use, stability, and defects. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we rely on performance of our contract for requested app and account functions where applicable, consent where required for optional diagnostics and for Health access or other special-category processing, legitimate interests in responding to support requests and protecting the website and service, and legal obligations where applicable. You can withdraw an optional choice at any time.
4. Your choices
- Accept or refuse optional usage and crash diagnostics during first run, or change the choice later in Settings. After you turn diagnostics off, new analytics events stop immediately; crash diagnostics stop fully after the next launch.
- Sign in with Apple or Google only if you want account features. Core local training continues without an account.
- Authorize cloud backup separately for the current account on that device before any manual or automatic upload begins. Turn off future uploads at any time without deleting existing backups. Restore or delete existing backups through the controls offered in the app.
- Turn off future Health sync in Settings and revoke Apple Health, notification, or Photos permissions in system settings.
- Delete individual records where available or use “Clear all data” in Settings to remove local plans, drafts, history, active workouts, settings, and caches. That local action signs out and clears local account state; it does not close your cloud account or remove cloud profile or backup data.
- Submit an in-app account-deletion request to start asynchronous cleanup of account profile content and cloud backups. Check completion in the app rather than assuming immediate or total removal from every system. Necessary security, operation, and deletion-status records may remain. Shared copies, Health entries, and local copies on other devices must be managed separately. Store subscriptions are not cancelled by account deletion.
- Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or objection where applicable. For data held only on your device, use the app’s local controls.
Where applicable, you may also complain to your local data protection authority. We do not use workout records for advertising.
5. Retention, recipients, and transfers
Local records remain until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app, subject to device backups outside the app’s control. Cloud account, profile, and backup data are managed separately: signing out, clearing local data, and uninstalling do not delete them. Account-deletion requests start asynchronous cleanup of profile content and backups; deletion-status, operation, and security records can have separate retention. Backup versions may be removed by your actions or by ordinary server cleanup. We do not promise immediate or complete removal from every system or provider backup. Apple Health entries and content you share are governed by the system or destination you choose. Optional diagnostic data, when enabled, is retained according to our configured settings and the provider’s service terms.
The product uses cloud authentication for identity; cloud backend, database, and object storage for account, profile, and backup functions; remote configuration services for configuration; and Firebase for optional analytics and crash reporting. Apple or Google processes sign-in and store purchases through the provider you choose. These providers may process data in countries outside your own and use contractual and other safeguards described in their privacy materials. Apple also controls platform permissions and Apple Health data.
6. Security, children, and changes
We use measures appropriate to the data and service, but no device or network is perfectly secure. The app is not directed at children and does not create a child profile. Contact us if you believe information about a child needs attention.
We will update this notice when purposes, recipients, or other material practices change. The effective date identifies the current version, and we will request a new choice where required by law.
